Rafael Dos Anjos Vs. Paul Felder

As the successor to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, has left the seat open due to injury, the show goes on with another contender. A fierce match is about to happen tomorrow. With great matchups in the other cards, the main menu has a lot to amaze the audience. Rafael Dos Anjos, who had his last outing on 26th January 2020, is ready to show a is championship mentality. He was the former champion with a record of 29 wins, 13 Losses, and no draw. A fierce match is about to happen tomorrow between Dos Anjos Vs Felder.

Paul Felder, from the state of Pennsylvania, stated his career in 2011 with the lightweight division. Paul had his moments in the last match; however, he faces the defeat from the hands of Dan Hooker, who had the upper hand over him. With a record of 17 wins, five losses, and 0 draws, Felder has a lot to prove in this game. Point to notice that the Irish Dragon accepted the fight as Islam Makhachev was pulled out. During the weight-in, both fighters looked lean with few pounds added on both sides. As it is not the championship match, this allows the fighters to have some liberty.

Talking about the odds, well, Dos Anjos is the favourite with -170 as the champion already has his name in the game. Underdog Felder +150 is unfavourite, and it would be a risk for all who bet. Let’s talk about the real thing that can affect the game.

RDA has been a masterclass against many with the class his jabs, pressure, and leg kicks that have damaged many. With great one to one boxes, the fighter is well equipped with ground and pound and excellent elbows that have cut many. The Brazilian fighter has a tremendous darce choke and Arm triangle that has finished many previously. With the exceptional skills in the wrestling of giving positions and attacking on back, RDA is a favourite in this match.

With Paul Felder on the other side, which is relatively new to the scene. Felder has shown his outstanding performance with all his skills and dominance over Ricci and Olivera, killing jabs and astonishing knee kick to the body.

But here is a significant flag to be raised. Felder has accepted the fight on just five days’ notice. He was instead looking for three rounds; however, the case rather became more worthy, and the fight has to go for five games.

With a rapid weight cut, training, and stress, the question is raised. Is Felder ready to fight against a guy like Rafael Dos Anjos? If the fight goes till the fourth round, will he have enough thrust and power in the tank to fight? With no match experience of playing till five games, Felder will face initial problems.

The chances are that Felder would instead consider ending the fight as sooner as he can before the championship round (round 4). Whereas the Brazilian Fighter RDA would love to keep the fight going till the last game, he can reveal his true colours.

The match will be live on ESPN and BT SPORTS, do not miss the action as the main card will start at 9 PM on GMT (UK time). The real action will begin with a bang!
